The Hall Financial project, located at 416 Hart Street in Marietta, is a joint-venture between Hall Financial and Pickering Energy Solutions with Hall Financial owning ½ of the system and Pickering Energy Solutions owning the other ½. The system uses 137 SolarWorld 300W Sunmodules, to produce a peak power of 41.1 kWSTC. These panels are mounted on the roof using IronRidge flashing and solar racking system and will feed into 5 SMA 7.7 kW inverters.
This project will produce about 48,733 kWH of power in an average year with a relative value of $ 7,200. annually. This is the power that would be required for about 4 1/2 average American Homes. Because WV and Southeastern Ohio use coal to produce 94% of their power, the power produced by this solar array will avoid the emission of 51 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. This is the equivalent of the annual CO2 production of 10 cars. You would need to have 42 acres of trees to absorb the amount of CO2 that will be avoided annually by this project.
Our major partners for this project include the employees of Hall Financial, who have been very supportive of this project from our initial conversations. The DC design and installation was provided by Appalachian Renewable Power in Athens. GEXPRO provided the DC equipment.
