IBEW #972 Apprenticeship Building

In late 2018 the IBEW Apprenticeship program approached Pickering Energy Solutions to provide a power system for their Apprenticeship Hall. Pickering Energy provided the design, permitting and equipment for the installation and the Apprentices, including several journeymen, provided the installation and electrical connections. This system includes 62-SolarWorld 300W panels and 2-SMA Sunny Boy 7.7-US inverters. This system will provide about 90% of the power that is currently projected to be used by the facility in an average year.

Thanks to the IBEW and especially to Daryl Jones who coordinated volunteers to provide the installation and electrical power connections. Hopefully we can build a team like this for every installation!
