48 Panel Solar Photovoltaic System
Parkersburg-Marietta Contractors and Trades Educational and Development Fund installed a new solar system in the spring of 2017 which will provide about 85% of the energy used by the building in an average year. This 13.7 kW system uses 48 Suniva (US ARRA Compliant) 285 watt panels and Enphase M-250 microinverters. The mounting system is Ironridge aluminum rail, manufactured in the US. This system will produce approximately 15,700 kWH of power per year, or enough to power 1.4 average American homes.
The energy produced from this system will avoid 16.3 Tons of CO2 being put into the atmosphere each year, which is the equivalent of the CO2 intake of 13 acres of forest.
This system, comprising 48 solar panels, will provide approximately 13.7 kW of solar power which will offset a portion of the energy used in the building. We are expecting that this system will provide 85% of the energy used by the building in an average year. Click the panel image or link below to view the system live.
