Thanks to our Liberia construction team, there are three more Community Health Department clinics, operated by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare in Bong County, Liberia which have power, refrigeration and can provide 24 hour operation. These clinics are Zoweinta, Kpaai and Yila. These clinics were funded by Robert Peirce and the Brother’s Brother foundation in 2015 and the installations are being completed as the weather and transportation within the country will allow. The solar power system was installed at Zebay but was not connected because the clinic wiring system was deficient.
Thanks to Africare, which has been consulting on a larger hydroelectric power system in the region, has provided transportation support for the installation at these clinics.
